Our schedule for the week! See us on Thurs. as we’ll have a special guest truck with us! Taiwanese dessert truck called PM2 Truck. Not sure what the name means, but they have some unique stuff!!

We are happy to be working with Anno Domini and other local artists/galleries/crafts people for South First Fridays!! As some of you know Carol and I, come from an Art, Design, and Craft background, so we are always happy to support events like these! We do still feel that we are still working within our training and consider ourselves to be expressing ourselves through our food!

Our involvement in Night Market is our way of playing with different foods and different ways to work. A tent/booth is fun, but very labor intensive. I think we’ve figured out a efficient way to work in the tent, so happy times!! The reason we decided to make a Taiwanese Chicken Fillet is because it’s not something you can really get in the U.S. We’ve heard that “it tastes like popcorn chicken”, yes there are some similar spices involved, but it is truly a unique way of eating chicken (no bread or rice, just you and a crispy juicy tender chicken breast) that can only be found in Night Markets or street vendors in Taiwan (yes, my better half is Taiwanese) originally, and now in China. Carol misses her time in Taiwan, and is really excited for this night market to succeed. It’s small right now, but some things take time to establish and this might be one if those things.
